Umano, the innovative app that lets you listen to interesting articles read by real people, has just received another notable update.
The new version of Umano introduces Collections. "You will now get access to content bundled up in a beautiful package for you," says the Umano team regarding this new feature. "Think of it as curated playlists around a certain topic or theme."
The newly updated app also makes its search function more discoverable by letting you access it straight from the menu.
In addition, it brings a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.

The new version of Umano is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.1 or later.
The app was updated in mid-May with Car Mode, Auto-Playlist, and My Activity features. Then, just a couple of weeks ago, the app was updated with a bunch of social features, including a new Popular screen, commenting, notifications, SMS sharing, and support for inviting friends from Contacts.
In celebration of the latter update, the Umano team kicked off a contest in which a random winner is set to win a brand new iPad mini.
To qualify for the contest, you must first like the official Umano Facebook page and share the above Umano promotional video. To double your chances of winning, download Umano and make sure to sign in to the app via Facebook.
The contest ends on Aug. 1, 2013, the same day of the announcement of the lucky winner of an iPad mini from Umano.
