Isometric App Updated With Instagram Integration, PNG Export And More
Less than a week after its release, Isometric has already gotten its first major update. Isometric is a neat app that lets you easily make works of geometric art by putting differently colored 60-degree rhombuses together. And thanks to the app's first update, creating geometric art in Isometric is made easier with the ability to duplicate drawings by tapping and holding the add button. Isometric now also lets you align your graphics to the grid by double-tapping them when choosing a viewport for sharing. In addition, it now allows you to export your drawings as PNG images with transparent background. The option to export your drawings as such is labeled Alpha in Isometric's style selection screen, which has been reordered through the app's new update. The new version of Isometric is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $1.99 download. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later. "If you like the idea of creating optical illusions and impressive patterns, you should download this app," wrote my colleague Ramy in his review of Isometric here on AppAdvice. "Although it initially seems quite basic, it does allow you to create a wide range of impressive images." [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
