New Featurette Takes Us Behind The Scenes Of Upcoming 'Jobs' Movie

August 1, 2013
A couple of weeks before the movie's theatrical release, a new featurette has just been released for the upcoming "Jobs" film starring Ashton Kutcher. The featurette, posted by Open Road Films on the movie's official YouTube channel and first spotted by 9to5Mac, takes us behind the scenes of "Jobs." Clocking in at nearly three minutes, it shows plenty of scenes from the film, both previously released and never before seen. In addition, it features commentary from the film's director, Joshua Michael Stern, and several cast members: Josh Gad as Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak, Dermot Mulroney as second Apple CEO Mike Markkula, and, of course, Kutcher as the title character, Steve Jobs. You can watch the featurette below: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. "Jobs" is set to hit theaters on Aug. 16. The movie chronicles the title character’s life from 1971, a few years before the founding of Apple, to 2000, a few years after he returned to and rebuilt the now iconic company he cofounded. Or as Kutcher puts it in the featurette, "The film starts when he's this kind of rebellious kid and carries through all the way to the invention of iPod." A couple of weeks ago, a 15-second promotional video for "Jobs" was posted on Instagram. It has since been touted as the first ever official trailer released on the popular photo- and video-sharing network.
