Man Of Steel Reaches Soaring Climax With Final Battle Between Superman And Zod
A new update has just landed on Man of Steel, the official tie-in game of the blockbuster movie starring Henry Cavill as the "Man of Steel" himself, Superman. Man of Steel features two modes: survival mode and story mode. In survival mode, you play for as long as you can while countering the forces of the main antagonist, General Zod. And in story mode, you play through a series of scenarios taken from the movie itself. Man of Steel received its first update a couple of weeks following its release in the middle of last month. That update extended the story mode so that players, after defeating Zod's lieutenants, can continue to save Earth by thwarting Zod's terraforming World Engine. Now, Man of Steel's second update completes the story mode with the final chapter, which challenges you to battle Zod in Metropolis, on the ground and in the air. The new Man of Steel update also introduces four new Superman suits that you can unlock and upgrade, namely, Original, Classic, New 52, and Red Son. Compatible with iDevices running iOS 5.0 or later, Man of Steel for iPhone and Man of Steel HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $2.99 and $4.99, respectively. Note that, thanks to the update, Man of Steel now works with the fourth-generation iPod touch. Shortly after its release, Man of Steel was named by us here on AppAdvice as our Game of the Week. In our citation, we noted that "if you’re a Superman fan, or just like Infinity Blade-style games, then this will be right up your alley." [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
