MLB.com At Bat Update Helps Usher In The All-Star Break

Just in time for the All-Star Break, MLB.com At Bat has been updated with a number of features sure to make any baseball fan happy. With All-Star Week kicking off in just a few days, version 6.2 of the app will let fans follow all of the festivities in New York, including the Home Run Derby and All-Star game. The update adds the MLB News Channel for customized push notifications. Fans can also watch in-progress video highlights within the Gameday Plays interface. Also, Highlights now include a complete description of each clip. For iPhone users, the available gameday data is now synced with the audio broadcasts. The version also has a revamped user interface. MLB.com At Bat is a universal app designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. To get the most of the app, there are two subscriptions options available as in-app purchases. For just $9.99, you’ll get access for the rest of the season – all the way to the World Series. You can also select a monthly subscription for $2.99. The app was last updated right before the start of the season in late March. Version 6.1 was highlighted by the ability to view historic games all the way back to 1952.
