New Path Update Paves The Way For Stickers In Comments, Better iPad Interface And More

July 10, 2013
Path has just received its first major update since its big 3.0 update four months ago. This new update, which brings the popular "personal" social networking app to version 3.1, delivers a number of enhancements. Most notable among these enhancements is the ability to use stickers in comments. Path 3.0 introduced stickers in private messages alongside the app's messaging feature itself. Now, Path 3.1 enables you to use stickers, whether free or premium, in responding to any moment in your feed. As it happens, Path 3.1 adds a couple of new sticker packs that you can unlock in-app for $1.99 each: Happy Hour and Xander. The latest update to Path also includes a new iPad interface that offers improved navigation in both portrait and landscape modes. Specifically, this new iPad interface features a more streamlined navigation menu that lets you easily share or view moments whichever orientation you prefer. Path 3.1 also includes the following improvements:
  • Friend Progress Bar: Path is better with friends and this progress bar will help you fill your feed with stories from the people you love.
  • In Person Friend Requests: It’s now even easier to send friend requests to people you’re hanging out with. Use a simple QR code to get connected in person!
  • Updated Friends List: Find your friends and send them messages faster with a cleaner, simpler Friends List.
Path 3.1 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
