Adobe Reader Goes To 11 With New CreatePDF And ExportPDF Premium Services

August 7, 2013
Adobe Reader for iOS has just been turned up all the way to 11. That is, it's been updated to version 11.0. Adobe Reader 11.0 sees the introduction of Adobe's premium CreatePDF and ExportPDF services to the popular PDF document management app. With CreatePDF, you can take advantage of the app's Image to PDF feature to snap a new photo or select an existing one for on-the-fly conversion to PDF format. Also, you can convert common Microsoft Office formats and other file types into PDF. As for ExportPDF, with it you can convert PDFs into Word, Excel, and other formats so that you can edit them on your device. As mentioned, CreatePDF and ExportPDF are premium services. As such, they are available via in-app purchase in Adobe Reader. Both services are offered through an annual $89.99 subscription, which also comes with 50GB of storage. Also including some bug fixes and security updates, Adobe Reader 11.0 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
