Apple Rolls Out Redesigned AppleCare Website With 24/7 Live Chat Support

August 27, 2013
Earlier this month, it was reported that Apple had been putting the finishing touches on a redesigned online portal for its AppleCare services. Now, 9to5Mac, the same site that first reported on the changes, has noted that significant improvements have been brought into effect for the official website of AppleCare. Most notably, the revamped AppleCare website makes it easy for customers to relay their concerns by neatly grouping products into categories and providing options for identifying issues as thoroughly as possible. The website now also easily enables customers to connect directly to an AppleCare support representative. Customers can choose to talk to a representative right away, schedule a call, make a Genius Bar appointment, or start a chat session with AppleCare support. "On the topic of live chat support," 9to5Mac states, "we’re told that 24/7 chat support has begun rolling out. Initially, the support was limited to certain hardware and software, but now Apple is supporting both Mac and iOS Device support at every hour of the day and night." Note that the redesigned AppleCare website is gradually being rolled out. As such, it's not yet live for all users.
