Battle Nations 3.0 Deploys Highly Anticipated Boss Strike Events And Air Units
Prepare for battle, because Battle Nations 3.0 is here. As pointed out by developer Z2Live, who is also behind Trade Nations and Nitro, the new 3.0 update introduces "the biggest new feature and the most player-requested units" to the popular freemium combat strategy game. The former designation refers to Boss Strike Events, while the latter refers to Air Units. Here's how the newly added Boss Strike Events work:
Rally your troops to battle through waves of enemies in return for rare resources and exclusive new units! Anyone, regardless of level and whether or not you're in a Guild, can attempt to scale the Tiers of Boss Strike by engaging in battles and donating resources. If you're in a Guild, Boss Strike Events become collaborative. Points are pooled together so that as soon as a Tier is completed, everyone in the Guild is rewarded with the prize! If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. As for the new Air Units, they're actually tied to the new Boss Strike Events since these exclusive units can be earned only through Boss Strike Events. From the first event, you can play with the following Air Units: a biplane fighter called Sopwith Spiderwasp, an air-to-ground combat chopper called BC-1 Snake, and a machine gun-mounted jet fighter called V-14 Maverick. Battle Nations 3.0 is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. The new version of the game also features new anti-aircraft capabilities, new missions, new non-air units, new buildings, and a new level cap (level 60). [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
