Fun And Free Social Drawing App Doodle.ly Goes Universal With New iPhone Version
August 15, 2013
The fun and free social drawing app Doodle.ly has just received its 2.1 update.
Launched for the iPad a year and a half ago, Doodle.ly got its big 2.0 update just over a month ago.
Doodle.ly 2.0 introduced an all new design along with a new sketchpad technology that simulates actual analog drawing tools. The update also added support for zooming into drawings, saving drawings to the photo library, and a notification section for tracking in-app activity.
As for the app's new 2.1 update, well, it's a big one too as it brings no less than universal support to Doodle.ly.
Indeed, Doodle.ly is no longer compatible with iPad and iPad mini only. Rather, it has also been optimized for iPhone and iPod touch.
Of course, Doodle.ly's new iPhone edition offers the same core features as Doodle.ly for iPad, except you can now carry them right in your pocket:
Doodle.ly 2.1 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Doodle.ly 2.1 also delivers some bug fixes and adds support for native Tumblr sharing, which requires that the Tumblr app be installed on your iDevice. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
