Photoristic HD Makes Editing Pictures On The iPad Fun And Easy

August 28, 2013
Photoristic HD is a new iPad app that gives photos a professional look. First released in July, the $4.99 app was recently updated to include a few new features. Created by Georgii Kharchenko, Photoristic HD is noted for its use of gestures to apply photo effects and filters. These are arranged into five main categories: balance, hue, saturation, luminance, and split tone. You can also apply general editing tools to eight colors separately. These include red, orange, yellow, green, aqua, blue, purple, and magenta. Photoristic HD also includes an easy-to-use black and white mode. Here you can adjust different colors separately so they appear lighter or darker on your photo for a dramatic effect. Other features include:
  • Resolution up to 20 megapixels
  • Social sharing (E-mail, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Load photos from Camera roll, Image Library, Copy-paste from browser or Make a photo without leaving the app.
The Photoristic 1.0.1 update adds an instant preset preview that displays the current image. Additionally, the update includes an adjusted preview for Retina display iPads. If you’re still looking for a photo-editing app for iPad, consider Photoristic HD. It is available now in the App Store. [gallery columns="4"]
