If you just can’t wait to take advantage of Apple’s new game controller standards in iOS 7, Amazon is offering a great deal for you. Gameloft’s Duo Gamer controller, which can be used to play a handful of titles from the developer, can be now be purchased for a mere $6.36. It is eligible for Amazon Prime free two-day shipping.

Originally announced last fall, the physical controller looked to have a lot of potential, but came with a sky-high $79.99 price tag. And the catalog of compatible games never expanded past the small number offered at launch, including N.O.V.A 3, Asphalt 7: Heat, and Order & Chaos Online.

Our own Dom Esposito also reviewed the controller after its was released. Not surprisingly, he said that the actual hardware was great but that the small number of available games and the high price tag made it hard to recommend.

But now at the bottom of the barrel price, the Duo Gamer looks to be a very nice impulse buy for fans of those Gameloft titles. Even just the included stand looks to be worth the small asking price for the entire system.

Even so, there are some big changes coming to iOS gaming. With iOS 7, Apple is thankfully introducing new controller APIs with a hardware standard. Hopefully, we’ll be seeing a number of controllers hit the market soon, including Logitech’s hardware that was leaked earlier this summer.
