The Sixth And Final iOS 7 Beta Set To Arrive Next Week

Most likely, app developers will receive the sixth and final iOS 7 beta on Monday, Aug. 19. From there, a gold master (GM) version will be released around Sept. 5, according to BGR. Assuming that there are no problems with the GM version of iOS 7, the new operating system should be released to the public around Sept. 10. That is the day that Apple is likely to unveil the “iPhone 5S,” and “iPhone 5C.” Both new iPhone models will arrive in stores with iOS 7 preinstalled. Apple first announced iOS 7 in June. Since then, five beta versions have been released to developers. The last one arrived on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Existing devices that are compatible with iOS 7 include:
  • iPhone 4
  • iPhone 4S
  • iPhone 5
  • iPad 2
  • 3rd generation iPad with Retina
  • 4th generation iPad with Retina
  • iPad Mini
  • 5th generation iPod touch
