Acclaimed Puzzle Adventure Game Unmechanical Goes Free For First Time On iOS

September 4, 2013
Acclaimed puzzle adventure game freebie alert! Unmechanical, the challenging game featuring a little robot copter stuck in various logic and physics-based conundrums, is free for the first time ever on iOS. Released on iOS last March, Unmechanical is now available to download for absolutely free. According to the game's developer, Teotl Studios, the game is free for one week only. So, if you haven't played this excellent game, make sure to get it right now. This also means that you don't have to download the game's free edition, Unmechanical Begins, to see what the hype is all about. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Released last May in celebration of Unmechanical's 100,000 copies sold on PC and iOS, Unmechanical Begins also contains four chapters of challenges. But only the first chapter is initially unlocked to be played for free, with the remaining three chapters available to unlock via in-app purchase for $0.99 each. That's equivalent to the full version's regular download price of $2.99 — which you need not worry about at the moment. As mentioned, Unmechanical is currently available in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.0 or later. For more information on Unmechanical, check out our original review of the game here on AppAdvice.
