Amazon Mobile 3.0 Adds Push Notifications For Upcoming Shipments And More
Amazon Mobile has just been updated to version 3.0. Nope, Amazon Mobile 3.0 doesn't introduce a new iOS 7-style interface. Rather, it adds support for push notifications regarding shipments and more. On iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, you can now set notifications to make it easier for you to keep updated about your upcoming shipments, Subscribe and Save orders, and Deals of the Day. For upcoming shipments, you can opt to receive a notification when your shipments are sent, when they arrive, and if any problems occur with their delivery. Amazon explains:
Tapping on the notification will open the Amazon Mobile shopping app to the "View Order" page for that parcel. To obtain more detailed tracking information, tap the "Track the Package" option underneath the product's delivery estimate.[caption id="attachment_464139" align="aligncenter" width="332"] Amazon Mobile[/caption] Also including bug fixes, Amazon Mobile 3.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
