ArtRage Updated With Enhanced Stylus Support And Tap-And-Hold Color Sampling

September 3, 2013
The highly rated drawing app ArtRage has just been updated with enhanced stylus support, optional tap-and-hold color sampling, and a number of important fixes. ArtRage now supports the Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus and the TenOne Pogo Connect Stylus, in addition to the Adonit Jot Touch. As mentioned, ArtRage has also been enhanced with optional tap-and-hold color sampling. ArtRage developer Ambient Design explains:
Due to requests from users we've made the tap and hold color sampling system optional. By default this is turned OFF. If you would like tap and hold to trigger the color sampler open the Settings app on your iPad and turn the preference on in the ArtRage section.
The latest update to ArtRage also applies fixes to improve the app's airbrush strokes, save system, import popover dismissal, landscape mode dragging, and color sampler hiding. The new version of ArtRage is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $4.99 download. The app is compatible with iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. ArtRage is included in AppAdvice's Drawing With Your iPad AppGuide and Best iPad Apps For Artists AppList. ArtRage for iPhone is also available in the App Store for $1.99. It was last updated in July with full-screen support for iPhone 5. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
