Jabra Announces The New Solemate Mini Speaker System

Jabra isn’t letting Jawbone have all the fun. Just days after Jawbone announced the Mini Jambox, the Jabra Solemate Mini has made an appearance. The compact speaker system will be available later this year at retail outlets and through shop.jabra.com. The $99 Jabra Solemate Mini includes two front-facing speakers, and launches in red, yellow, blue, and black. Other features include:
  • Durability - Durable enough to handle the scrapes and bumps of regular use with all round rubber protection and resistance to sweat, dust and splashes
  • Long Playback Time - with a battery life of up to 8 hours
  • Easy Pairing - using Bluetooth or NFC and wirelessly controlled from across the room
  • Integrated Cable  - in the sole of the speaker providing a choice between a wireless or wired connection

The New Hampshire-based company has also announced an enhanced version of the Jabra Solemate. This version, priced at $149.99, features near field communication (NFC) pairing, and will launch in red, blue, yellow, and gray. The Jabra Solemate Mini and Jabra Solemate will both launch after Oct. 1.
