LinkedIn For iOS Now Shows Your Skill Endorsements And Lets You Apply For Jobs

September 5, 2013
LinkedIn for iOS has just received a new update. With this update, you can easily apply for jobs right within the app and you can make your mobile profile more attractive to potential employers. A month ago, LinkedIn began rolling out its in-app job application feature. Now, this feature is officially part of the popular professional social networking site's iOS app — but only on iPhone and iPod touch for now. With the newly updated app, you can now apply for jobs by using your LinkedIn profile. Just tap the Apply with LinkedIn button on select jobs, and your LinkedIn profile is sent as a proxy for your resume. The latest update to LinkedIn for iOS also adds your top skill endorsements to your mobile profile, thereby showcasing your professional best. You can now also use the app to accept skill endorsements from others and endorse others for their skills. The new version of LinkedIn for iOS is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later. Note, though, that the aforementioned improvements brought about by the app's latest update is applicable to iPhone and iPod touch only. LinkedIn for iOS was updated early last July with search enhancements for finding people, jobs, companies, and groups across the LinkedIn network and then early last month with the ability to upgrade to LinkedIn Premium.
