New Sonic Dash Update Takes You To The Beach And To The iCloud

Summer is already nearing its end, but that doesn't mean you can't take to the beach in the latest update to Sonic Dash. Sega has just released another major update to the popular endless runner starring Sonic the Hedgehog. And this update introduces a new beach-themed level:
Race along a brand new area of Seaside Hill – the beach! Filled with all new hazards and obstacles, dash along sandy dunes and rickety old piers before darting underwater through submerged, winding tubes.
With the latest update to Sonic Dash, you can also take to the clouds. To the iCloud, that is. At long last, Sonic Dash has gained support for iCloud, enabling you to keep your progress in sync across multiple iDevices. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The update also introduces a new global challenge, where you have to score as high as you can in order to contribute to a personal goal as well as a community goal. By completing this global challenge, you can earn boosters and unlock a new mystery character. The new version of Sonic Dash is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. As you may already know, iOS 7 is set to be released tomorrow. To ensure that you don't lose your progress in Sonic Dash, you are advised to update to this new version of the game before upgrading your iDevice to iOS 7. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
