Rego Now Lets You Back Up Your Bookmarked Places And Photos With Dropbox

September 10, 2013
The highly rated location-bookmarking app Rego has just arrived at another major update. The latest update to Rego adds a new Uncategorized collection to help you keep track of places that haven't been added to any specific collection. It also introduces the ability to add photos of any size, including portrait or landscape pictures and even panoramas. But undoubtedly the most significant new feature in the new version of Rego is integration with Dropbox. This allows you to back up your places and photos using the popular cloud storage service. Just select the new "Backup & Restore with Dropbox" option in the app's settings section to activate and learn more about this feature. Note that with this update, it's in with Dropbox and out with the "Export as GPX" feature, which was previously added to Rego only as a temporary backup solution. The new version of Rego is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.1 or later. Rego is free to download, but it’s initially limited to 10 places and one photo filter only. Support for adding an unlimited number of places and accessing all of the app’s photo filters may be unlocked via a $4.99 in-app purchase. This new update is already the third update issued for Rego, which was launched last March.
