Umano 3.0 Introduces iOS 7-Inspired Redesign And New Premium Subscription

Umano has just been updated to version 3.0 with a new iOS 7-style interface and a set of features available only via premium subscription.
Apparently named after the Italian word for "human," Umano is an innovative app that lets you listen to interesting articles read by real people, i.e., real humans.
Released in October last year, it was updated to version 2.0 last April with a new design and new features. And now, it has been redesigned and enhanced with new features yet again with its big 3.0 update.
Umano 3.0 features a redesigned interface that, as expected, matches the look and feel of iOS 7, which was launched a week ago. The new interface boasts a flatter design and a new transparent navigation bar, among other iOS 7-inspired elements.
It also includes a new menu layout that makes for easier navigation, with support for iOS 7's right-edge swipe for going back to the previous screen. In addition, it comes with a revamped player with quick actions and built-in support for AirPlay.
Umano's iOS 7 support also extends to its integration with AirDrop, allowing you to share articles with other iOS 7 users nearby.
The newly updated Umano also lets you add articles to your Safari Reading List. Moreover, it's said to use the latest multitasking enhancements in order to automatically receive and download the daily news flash for offline listening.
News flash and offline listening are actually part of Umano's new premium subscription, which is introduced in Umano 3.0. Simply called Umano Premium, the premium subscription provides access to the following features:
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.1 or later, Umano 3.0 is available now in the App Store for free. Umano Premium is available for $3.99 per month.
