Kik Messenger Gets New iOS 7 Redesign, Gains New 'My Little Pony' Sticker Pack

While the hugely popular WhatsApp remains in dire need of a redesign for iOS 7, a number of other messaging apps have already received updates focused on the new operating system. One such app is the newly updated Kik Messenger.
Through its latest update, Kik has gained a revamped interface that does away with its old "buttony" look in favor of a "flat" one that befits iOS 7. The app, with its fresh coat of mostly white paint, is now also noticeably lighter and cleaner.
Aside from its new iOS 7-inspired design, Kik has also been updated with a new "My Little Pony" sticker pack. (Yay, bronies!)
Having already resulted in significant revenue for other messaging apps (including Line and KakaoTalk), sticker were introduced to Kik late last July. Initially, only three sticker packs were available in Kik: the free Memes pack, the "South Park" pack, and the "Adventure Time" pack. A couple of new sticker packs, "Happy Tree Friends" and "Smiley World," were subsequently added to Kik.
Also including stability improvements, the new version of Kik Messenger is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
