Marvel’s Creativity Studio Stylus Will Hulk Smash Its Way Into Stores Soon

October 24, 2013
Any budding artist, and superhero fan, will sure want to take a look at Marvel’s new Creativity Studio Stylus. Paired with the free iPad/iPad mini companion app that can be downloaded now in the App Store, kids can color and animate Marvel superheroes and villains from “Avengers Assemble,” “The Ultimate Spider-Man,” and “Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.” While kids can use the app without the stylus, the device unlocks a number of special features and access to all current and future in-app purchases for free. One of the special tools include “Reveal” that will help kids flawlessly color the page like a professional. The app also features an interactive grid system that provides specialty drawing aids like a side-by-side drawing canvas, trace lines, and the unique “Drawing Scope” that will allow artists of all levels to draw their favorite character. Kids can also create their own custom stickers and add them to the animated scenes. Marvel is promising that the stylus will be available soon at a number of retailers for $34.99. Apple Stores and Apple’s site will offer a deluxe version of the stylus with a limited edition carrying case for the same price. Disney has also recently updated the Disney Creativity Studio app, a companion to the stylus that was released last year. Along with more drawing tools, the app has added more characters like Disney Junior’s “Sofia the First,” “Doc McStuffins,” and “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.”
