Narrato Journal 2.0 Features iPad Support, Social Sharing And iOS 7 Optimizations
The gorgeous journaling app Narrato Journal has just been optimized for iOS 7 and updated to version 2.0 in the process. Narrato Journal 2.0 brings a number of significant improvements, not least of which is universal support. "We think journaling is a universal right, so we made Narrato a Universal app," says the Narrato team. "This is a thinly veiled way of saying Narrato now has a super awesome iPad version as well as the iPhone/iPod version you've come to love." And if you turn on iOS 7's Background App Refresh for Narrato Journal, you can easily and seamlessly sync your data across all of your iDevices. In addition to universal support, the update adds "any orientation" support to the app's iPhone and iPod touch edition. This means that you can now use Narrato Journal either in portrait or landscape mode, whichever suits your preference, on your iPhone and iPod touch. Narrato Journal 2.0 also introduces a redesigned interface for iOS 7. If you thought the app's original interface was already a good match for iOS 7, think again. As it turns out, the app's new design is a much better match, complete with flat UI elements, blurs, and parallax effects. It also boasts Accessibility support and Dynamic Type integration. Just enable the M7's step-counting system in the app's feeds to automatically log your daily steps. Furthermore, Narrato Journal 2.0 introduces the ability to share your entries. Now, you can do so via Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, camera roll, or AirDrop. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Narrato Journal 2.0 is available now in the App Store. Normally priced at $2.99, the app is currently available for free. Released last July, Narrato Journal received its first major update in early August. For more information on Narrato Journal, check out our original review of the app here on AppAdvice.
