NBA 2K14 Dribbles Into The App Store, Features Miami Heat's LeBron James
NBA 2K14, the latest installment in the wildly popular NBA 2K series of basketball video games, has just been released. And coinciding with its launch on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, NBA 2K14 has also been released on iOS. NBA 2K14 is the latest installment of the world's biggest and best NBA video game franchise. With more than 38 Sports Game of the Year and "Best Of" mentions last year on console, 2K14 is set to rule the virtual hardwood on iOS. This year, we've joined forces with the league's most dominant force: LeBron James. NBA 2K14 will raise the bar, yet again. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. NBA 2K14 is available now in the App Store for $7.99. Dumping no in-app purchases whatsoever into the game, 2K Sports has eschewed the freemium business model that another high-profile publisher (i.e., Electronic Arts) has been known to implement in its iOS releases (e.g. FIFA 14, most recently). Note that NBA 2K14 for iOS is compatible with the following devices only: iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, third-generation iPad, fourth-generation iPad, and iPad mini. NBA 2K13, NBA 2K12 for iPhone, and NBA 2K12 for iPad remain available in the App Store for $7.99, $2.99, and $5.99, respectively. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
