Repix Gets Remixed For iOS 7 With New Design, New Filters And New Filter Fade Option

October 11, 2013
Repix, which is touted by its developer as an "inspiring photo editor," has just been remixed for iOS 7. As expected, Repix's iOS 7 update introduces a redesigned interface that delightfully matches the look and feel of the latest iteration of Apple's mobile operating system. Of course, the new interface is simpler and flatter, notably including no-frills buttons and menu options. The update also adds support for the new Camera filters and shooting formats in iOS 7. Furthermore, the latest update to Repix introduces the new Mellow Filters pack, which contains four filters (Papilio, Vivid, Dry Clean, and Mist) with warm and shaded tones. Mellow Filters may be unlocked via a $0.99 in-app purchase or as part of the $5.99 Master's Collection. Finally, the update adds a new filter fade option that lets you adjust a filter's intensity by simply sliding on top of the image. The new version of Repix is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Repix earned an AppAdvice App of the Week honorable mention shortly after its release last March. "Although there are plenty of photo editing apps in the App Store, Repix offers a new and unique experience," notes our original review of the app. "If you want more than instant effects and you like the idea of spending more time turning photos into unique works of art, this app is definitely worth checking out."
