Smart Personal Finance App Wally Updated With New iOS 7 Design And New Features

October 6, 2013
The highly rated smart personal finance app Wally has just received another notable update. Released last March, Wally helps you easily keep track of your expenses, manage your income, and set plans for your personal finances. Among its many features, a couple stand out: InstaScan, which lets you scan and save a copy of the receipt for a transaction, and Aspects, which enables you to track the "why" of your expenses. And with its latest update, Wally has gained more features. According to the Wally team, this new update comes as a result of thousands of feedback messages from the app's users. It adds the following features:
  • Recurring Expenses
  • Balance Carry-Over
  • Set Financial Month Start
  • Set First Day of the Week
  • Edit Your Personal Details
  • Daily Reminders
  • Choose metric or imperial
But before you can use these new features along with the old, you're bound to notice the new iOS 7-inspired design of Wally. "We ran a steam roller over the last version, trimmed some corners with an x-acto knife, and sprinkled some fairy dust all over the place," says the Wally team of the new design. The new version of Wally is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
