The Fitbit Force Fitness Band Is Now Available For Order

October 10, 2013
It’s official. Fitbit has announced the arrival of its newest fitness band, the Fitbit Force. With a design similar to the Fitbit Flex, the new accessory is available now for $129.95. First rumored earlier this month, the Fitbit Force features an OLED display to help track steps, distance, floors climbed, calories burned, and active minutes. Not surprisingly, the band also serves as a wristwatch. Like the Flex, the Force is fully compatible with the free Fitbit app for iPhone. As such, it automatically syncs your stats via Bluetooth 4.0. The Fitbit Force is available in black and slate, and comes in small and large. Orders received today at fitbit.com should arrive in three to four weeks. Earlier this month, to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Fitbit announced a pink special edition of the Flex that is available at Apple Stores and through the company’s site. Fitbit will donate $10 to the American Cancer Society for each Flex purchased. Once we receive our Fitbit Force, we'll be offering a full review. Until then, visit fitbit.com for ordering information.
