Injustice: Gods Among Us Gets New Playable 'Super' Skins And Repeatable Challenges

November 26, 2013
Injustice: Gods Among Us has just been updated with new playable "super" skins and repeatable challenges. The latest update to the popular fighting game based upon the DC Comics universe introduces a couple of new skins inspired by the blockbuster film "Man of Steel," which was released last June. One of these skins is, of course, based on Man of Steel himself, Superman. And the other is based on his Kryptonian archenemy, General Zod. As mentioned, Injustice: Gods Among Us has also been updated with repeatable challenges. As a result, you can now repeat specific challenges up to three times in order to upgrade your characters faster and extend your gameplay. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Also including fixes for "those villainous bugs," the new version of Injustice: Gods Among Us is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. Injustice: Gods Among Us is published by Warner Bros. and developed by NetherRealm, the same studio behind Batman: Arkham City Lockdown and Batman: Arkham Origins. For more information on Injustice: Gods Among Us, check out our original review of the game here on AppAdvice, which concludes thus: "Fans of head-to-head combat games like Street Fighter will be thrilled to play this game. If you have any interest in the DC Comics superhero world, you will love being able to collect characters like trading cards." [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
