Amazon Cloud Drive Photos Goes Universal With An Update

December 9, 2013
Amazon’s Cloud Drive Photos app for iOS devices has just recently made the move to version 2.0, adding a number of new features. The biggest addition is native support for both the iPad and iPad mini, allowing users to browse their photos on a bigger tablet screen. The new update also allows users to upload or download videos of up to 2GB in size or 20 minutes in length. And along with the ability to protect personal videos in a Cloud Drive, playback saved video is streamed instantly to any device. Amazon Cloud Drive Photos can be downloaded now in the App Store for free. Users need to be running iOS 6.0 or later. The app was originally unveiled in the App Store back in May. If you’re interested in using the service, Amazon is giving 5GB of space away for free. If more space is needed, prices start at $10 for 20GB of space and go all the way to $500 per year for 1TB.
