Double Dragon Trilogy Gains Gameplay Enhancements Plus iOS 7 Controller Support

December 15, 2013
Just a little over a week after its release on iOS, Double Dragon Trilogy has already received its first update. Announced for iOS late last October, Double Dragon Triloy is a collection of all three installments in the classic Double Dragon beat 'em up arcade video game series: Double Dragon, Double Dragon 2: The Revenge, and Double Dragon 3: The Rosetta Stone. The game features two game modes, namely, Arcade and Story. Arcade lets you play the game from beginning to end, while Story lets you unlock new stages and achievements as you play. And thanks to Double Dragon Trilogy's first update, more lives have been added in both modes. In addition, continues are now available in Arcade mode. Double Dragon Trilogy also offers customizable controls. And in the new version of the game, the default button placement has been altered to avoid mistakes of wanted attacks. What's more, the game now supports iOS 7 controllers. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. The new version of Double Dragon Trilogy also includes the following fixes:
  • Music choice (remix/8bits) is now saved in the preferences
  • Fixed a sound bug when having 1up life while reaching 30000 points in DD1
  • Fixed iPad Air and iPad Mini Retina buttons size by default
  • Fixed resize function in Key configuration screen
The new version of Double Dragon Trilogy is available in the App Store as a free update or as a new $2.99 download. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
