Rovio Celebrates Angry Birds' 4th Anniversary With New Birdday Party Levels
Four years ago, a mobile gaming star was hatched. Of course, I'm referring to none other than Angry Birds. Yup, believe it or not, it's been four years since the release of the original game in Rovio's immensely successful franchise. And in celebration of the game's fourth anniversary, or "birdday" as it were, Rovio has updated both Angry Birds for iPhone and Angry Birds HD for iPad with 15 new levels. You can find these new levels in, unsurprisingly, the Birdday Party episode. Angry Birds for iPhone and Angry Birds HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively. This celebratory update comes just a couple of weeks after Angry Birds' "shocking" update, which introduced the new Short Fuse episode and an electrifying new power for Bomb Bird. Early today, Rovio officially launched the latest entry in the Angry Birds game series, the downhill kart racer Angry Birds Go.
