Rovio Stars' Tropical Match-Three Puzzler Juice Cubes Gets Wintry With Holiday Update
Winter is coming ... even, as it turns out, to the tropical islands of Juice Cubes. A match-three puzzle gaming competitor to Candy Crush Saga, Juice Cubes challenges you to score juicy points by connecting three or more fruit cubes of the same color horizontally, vertically, or even diagonally. Released late last October, it received its first update last month, thereby gaining new levels and a new map piece raffle system. And now, it has received its second update, which doubles as its holiday update:

As a result, every level in Juice Cubes is now set in a tropical island that is also a winter wonderland. Go figure. And go figure out the solutions to Juice Cubes' 30 new festive levels while you're at it. The new holiday-themed version of Juice Cubes is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. Juice Cubes is the third title to be released under the Rovio Stars banner, the third-party game publishing label of Angry Birds creator Rovio. The first is the ice-slicing physics-based puzzle game Icebreaker: A Viking Voyage, which was released last June, and the second is the medieval puzzle adventure game Tiny Thief, which was released last July.
