Sequel To Roguelike Dungeon Crawler Dungelot Set For Release In January

January 1, 2014
If you're a fan of Dungelot, then you're sure to dig its sequel, which is set for release soon. Dungelot is a casual roguelike dungeon crawler game developed by Red Winter. In every level of the game, you basically have to search for the key to the next level. And to do just that, you have to flip over tiles to reveal treasures or monsters, one of which holds the coveted key. For more information on Dungelot, check out our original review of the game here on AppAdvice. Released in January 2013, Dungelot is about to get a much-awaited follow-up in the form of a sequel, which, of course, is called Dungelot 2. Details about the sequel are scarce at the moment, but we do have the game's official trailer from Red Winter to tide us over until its release. And as noted by Touch Arcade, the visuals of Dungelot 2 constitute a significant upgrade over those of the original game. Take a look: If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Dungelot 2 is set to be released early next year. As early as the first month of the year, in fact. That is to say, it's scheduled to be launched sometime in January 2014. In the meantime, you can continue playing the original Dungelot game. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 3.2 or later, Dungelot is available in the App Store for $1.99.
