This Newly Updated Grocery List App Features Everything ... And The Kitchen Sync

December 23, 2013
Preparing a hearty feast for your family and friends in celebration of the holidays? Then better take Kitchen Sync with you to help you with your grocery shopping. Kitchen Sync lets you easily create a list of the grocery items you want or need to buy. Just tap the items you want to add to your list. And if an item you desire or require is not in Kitchen Sync's default selection, you can easily add it in for immediate and future use. The items in your list are automatically organized by aisle, so you don't end up going hither and thither while shopping. Of course, Kitchen Sync wouldn't have been so named if it didn't come with the ability to sync grocery lists. But instead of iCloud or some other popular form of syncing, the app syncs via a proprietary method that provides a unique syncing key, which you can enter in your other iOS devices or share with a friend or family member. Kitchen Sync is a decidedly simple app. And it has just been updated with a slightly new design. The app was redesigned for iOS 7 the day after the operating system's launch in September, with a flat and nearly all-white interface. Now, while Kitchen Sync remains flat, it has been updated with dark matte top and bottom bars, which keep the focus on content, i.e. the items and the list. Also including bug fixes and other improvements, the newly updated Kitchen Sync is available now in the App Store. Previously priced at $0.99, the app has been downloadable at no cost since it went free early last month. For more apps like Kitchen Sync, check out AppAdvice's Grocery List Helpers AppGuide.
