The Jawbone Era Is A Bluetooth Headset I Would Actually Use In Public

January 16, 2014
While Jawbone is more known for its popular line of Jambox wireless speakers, the company also creates high-quality Bluetooth headsets. And there is a new option in the lineup - the Era. The Era is 42 percent smaller than the previous version of headset from the company and weighs in at 0.21 ounces. And the ear fittings, which come in a number of different sizes, are designed to use the natural contour of the ear for a comfortable and secure fit. With the Jawbone app, which can be downloaded now for free in the App Store, users can customize the headset and program easy access to Siri. The app can also be used to track down a lost headset thanks to the built-in locator. You can purchase the Era now for $99.99. Buyers can select from a black, silver, red, or bronze headset. Upgrading to a headset and charging case combination will set you back an extra $30. The case comes in either silver or black. The charging case provides an extra six hours of talk time while on the go. Without the case, the headset offers up to four hours of talk time.
