Ladies and Gentlemen …The Beatles Are On Apple TV

February 10, 2014
On Sunday night, CBS commemorated the 50th anniversary of The Beatles appearing on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” Cupertino is also celebrating the “Fab Four” arrival in the United States by adding a new channel to Apple TV. Simply called “The Beatles,” the channel arrives via a new update to the company’s “hobby” device. The channel features The Beatles' entire 14-minute performance as it aired on Feb. 9, 1964 from New York City. It also promotes the availability of all The Beatles’ U.S. albums in iTunes. The same content, including the performance on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” is also available on Mac or PC via the iTunes Store. Sixty percent of American TVs tuned in to watch The Beatles on "The Ed Sullivan Show." The event represented the start of "Beatlemania" in the U.S. Via: AppleInsider
