Star-Collecting And Spell-Casting Game Starry Duo Is The Sequel To Starry Fly

March 8, 2014
The atmospheric endless runner Starry Fly now has a sequel, sort of, with the release of Starry Duo. In Starry Fly, as explained in our review of the game (originally called Starry), you have to fly as far as you can by collecting stars of the same color indicated by your magic wand. In Starry Duo, you get to do the same. Only this time, the gameplay is level- and objective-based rather than endless. Also, as its name suggests, Starry Duo features two playable characters. In the new game, you can choose to play as a young boy named Polaris or a young girl named Sirius. Either way, you have to fly through a mystical forest and collect colored stars to fuel your magic wand. As you collect stars and progress through the game, you can obtain potions, cast spells, and earn wand upgrades to fight the evil forest creatures and bosses. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Starry Duo features the following:
  • Battle evil bosses
  • Encounter forest Treelings that help you along the way
  • Bewitching graphics that will immerse you in the magical world of Starry
  • Spellbinding music and sound effects
  • Leaderboards to invoke your competitive spirit
  • Play across all your iOS devices with our universal application
  • Enhanced with Apple’s latest SpriteKit game engine
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Starry Duo is available now in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
