Going, Going: Bidding Ends Soon For CharityBuzz’s Tim Cook Auction

May 13, 2014
If you’d like a chance to have lunch with Tim Cook, you better hurry. Bidding on CharityBuzz’s auction for a one hour lunch with the Apple CEO ends at 2 p.m. EDT today, May 13. The winning bidder may bring a friend to the lunch, which will be held at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California. Travel and accommodations are not included. Under the “fine print,” the auction reads:
Winning bidder and guest(s) subject to security screening. Every effort will be made to schedule this experience at the earliest possible date convenient to both parties, but please note it may take up to 1 year to schedule based on availability. We expect all winning bidders and their guests to conduct themselves appropriately when attending an experience won at Charitybuzz. Polite manners and respect for the generous donor and adherence to any rules or parameters are a must.
At the time of this writing, the auction has received 27 bids. The highest bid so far: $180,000. The winning bid for last year’s coffee meeting was $610,000. Like last year, the auction benefits the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights. What are you waiting for? Bid on a lunch with Tim Cook right here.
