Slow Shutter! Goes 2.0 With New Features For Better Long-Exposure Photography

June 9, 2014
Slow Shutter! has just received a big upgrade. Released by Lucky Clan in March last year, the app has been updated to version 2.0. As its name suggests, Slow Shutter is designed for capturing long-exposure photographs, resulting in amazing pictures of moving objects often achieved with DSLR cameras. Built from the ground up, version 2.0 of Slow Shutter boasts an enhanced design for easier controls and better results, with a new interface styled after the look and feel of iOS 7. The updated app supports three modes: Auto (for waterfalls, ghost photos, and other moving objects), Light Trail (for night traffic, fireworks, carousels, and other moving lights), and Night (for very dark places). Full resolution is supported in Auto and Night modes, while maximum frame rate is used in Light Trail mode (adjustable in the iOS Settings app). Exposure can be adjusted in Light Trail and Night modes, and freeze can be modified in Auto mode. Slow Shutter 2.0 also adds support for tapping the Shoot button again to stop capturing. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Slow Shutter! 2.0 is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $1.99 download.
