The popular iOS calendar app Sunrise Calendar has just received an update that ushers in a series of integrations with a number of popular productivity and lifestyle apps.

For its inaugural batch of integrations, Sunrise lets you connect directly to Evernote, Songkick, TripIt, Github, and Asana. This means that your Evernote reminders, Songkick concerts, TripIt travel plans, Github milestones, and Asana tasks can now be automatically synced into your calendar in Sunrise.

Syncing even works both ways for Evernote, Github, and Asana, so you can make changes in Sunrise and have them synced into those apps.

You can connect the newly integrated apps, along with the other already existing ones, in Sunrise’s settings section.

According to the Sunrise team, more apps will be supported through future updates.

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Sunrise Calendar is available on the App Store for free.

The new version of the app also includes a redesigned Add Event feature, support for birthdays from the address book, and new languages.

A couple of weeks ago, Sunrise for Web (teased in the video above) was made available both as a Web app accessible from any desktop browser and as a Chrome app with offline capabilities.
