Wadjet Eye's Point-And-Click Blackwell Adventure Games Are Coming To iOS Next Month

June 26, 2014

Developer-publisher Wadjet Eye Games is set to bring three titles in its popular “Blackwell” series of point-and-click adventure games to the App Store next week, according to a recent report.

The news comes from TouchArcade, which notes that the three apps – The Blackwell Legacy, Blackwell Unbound, and Blackwell Convergence – are all expected to reach the App Store on July 10. As of this writing, however, pricing for the three games has yet to be announced.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Blackwell game series, the website explains:

the Blackwell series traffics in mystery, noir, and detective story tropes, with an added supernatural twist: the series follows a family of mediums and their sidekick ghost as they trawl through New York, solving crimes and soothing souls.

Besides the aforementioned three titles, two further games in the series – Blackwell Deception and Blackwell Epiphany – have been released on desktop platforms. According to Wadjet Eye, both could reach the App Store “later this year,” too.

TouchArcade also points iOS gamers in the direction of Steam’s Summer Sale, which is offering the Blackwell games at bargain prices for the Windows platform. Mac, Linux, and Android, on the other hand, are also expected to get their own versions of Wadjet Eye’s Blackwell titles in the near future.

We’ll let you know once the three Blackwell titles have made an appearance on the App Store.
