Apple TV now includes the official iTunes Festival channel for 2014

This year’s iTunes Festival in London kicks off on Monday, Sept. 1. The official channel for the event is now available on Apple TV.

Currently featuring information about the line-up, the iconic Roundhouse Theatre, and a history of the event, the channel was last accessible in March when Apple held its first stateside iTunes Festival event at SXSW.

As noted earlier in the day, notable additions to the iTunes Festival London 2014 lineup include: Mary J. Blige, Ed Sheeran, Jessie J, deadmau5, Placebo, Ben Howard, Nicola Benedetti, Nick Gardner, Nick Mulvey, Rae Morris, Lisa Hannigan, Little Dragon, James Bay, Hozier, Wolf Alice, Miloš, Alison Balsom, Foy Vance, and Tony Bennett.

Apple is yet to announce the performers for Sept. 19 and the final night, Sept. 30.

First held in 2007, the iTunes Festival is free to attend. Tickets are awarded to winners of competitions run by Apple and its local media partners.

The festival is going to be streaming for free on Mac, PC, and iOS devices and on Apple TV via iTunes. The official iTunes Festival app is available to download on the App Store.
