Apple selects Whac A Mole as its latest free App of the Week
It’s time to get your mallet and play the latest app selected by Apple to go free. Whac A Mole has been chosen as the App of the Week and will be free to download for the next seven days.
From developer Mattel, and designed for kids 9 to 11, the app is an adaptation of the classic arcade game.
Players get the chance to hone their whacking skills in 60 levels of mole-filled action. Some of the different levels include a farm, jungle, and the Wild West.
Collect coins throughout the game and get the chance to purchase a number of new weapons, including the lightning mallet.
Whac A Mole is universal and designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. As usual for this type of game, there are a number of in-app purchases available for users.
I’m looking forward to trying Whac A Mole. Unlike the arcade version, my kids won’t be able to hit each other with a real rubber mallet.
