Apple’s Smart Case updated for iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and other models
As usual, some details about new products were left out of today’s iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 announcement. Although it was not pointed out, Apple’s line of leather Smart Cases have been updated to fit the new iPad Air 2 and all iPad mini models.
A change in the available color options also comes with the new cases to more closely match the leather case options for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Colors include Black, Midnight Blue, Product(RED), Olive Brown, and Soft Pink.
Unfortunately, similar to the changes in leather case offerings for the iPhone 5 and 5s, the Smart Case for the original iPad Air is now only available in black.
Directly from Apple, the new Smart Case for iPad Air 2 is available for $79.99, and the Smart Case for all iPad mini models can be yours for $69.99.
