October 16, 2014

One day after HBO announced that it would be introducing a standalone streaming video package in 2015, CBS has followed suit. CBS All Access allows non-cable and satellite subscribers to access most CBS programming via the Web and through the CBS app for iOS and Android.

For $5.99 per month, CBS All Access offers subscribers “thousands of episodes from the current season, previous seasons and classic shows on demand, as well as the ability to stream local CBS Television stations live in 14 of the largest U.S. markets at launch.”

Popular CBS programs include “NCIS,” “The Big Bang Theory,” and “The Good Wife.”

CBS All Access is available beginning today, Oct. 16 at CBS.com and on mobile devices. You can try the service for free for one week.

The free CBS app is available to download on the App Store.
