Numerous app updated for iOS 8 with Today widget, Health integration and more

The popular numbers-tracking app Numerous has just received its anticipated update for iOS 8, a couple of weeks after the release of the operating system.

As a result, Numerous has gained a handful of new features that are exclusive to iOS 8.

One of these is Numerous’ very own widget in the Today view of iOS 8′s Notification Center, which was shown off by Numerous founder John Scalo last July. Just tap Edit in the Today view to add the Numerous widget and see your favorite number tiles right within Notification Center. Go to Numerous’ setting section to add, remove, and reorder tiles in the Today widget.

The new version of Numerous also integrates with the Health app in iOS 8. Now, you can add a Health tile in Numerous that displays your chosen health data from health record providers, connected devices, and other apps.

Also in iOS 8, you can switch to landscape mode to see all of your numbers at once in the main screen of Numerous, and you can sign in to the app anonymously using iCloud instead of Facebook, Twitter, or Google.

Aside from these iOS 8 optimizations, the latest update to Numerous adds support for streaming numbers to Apple TV and other devices via AirPlay. It also optimizes the app for the Retina HD display of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.

Designed for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 7.0 or later, Numerous is available on the App Store for free.

Numerous was previously updated in July with several improvements, most notably including support for tracking numbers related to Nest products.
