Tim Cook: iPhone 6 launch was the "biggest ever"

We’ve seen various reports over the passing weeks regarding the quantity of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units sold, starting with 10 million units during the opening weekend and up to 21 million by Oct. 5. At today’s iPad and Mac event, Tim Cook took the stage to tell us that the iPhone’s 6 launch was the “biggest ever.”
And that’s all. No numbers were given at this time, which we find to be pretty strange.
