Adobe has just updated its Photoshop Sketch drawing app and Illustrator Line drafting app with new features and enhancements.

For both Adobe Photoshop Sketch and Adobe Illustrator Line, the eponymous software company has expanded stylus support to include functionality with Pencil by FiftyThree and the Wacom Intuos Creative stylus.

Both iPad apps have also been updated with automatic project saving to avoid loss of precious work. Bug fixes for improved stability and performance have also been delivered to both apps.

In addition, Adobe Photoshop Sketch now features size controls for the pencil, pen and marker tools, and Adobe Illustrator Line now offers easier viewing and selection of shapes.

Compatible with iPad running iOS 7.0 or later, Adobe Photoshop Sketch and Adobe Illustrator Line are both free to download from the App Store.

Last week, the iPad photo-editing app Adobe Photoshop Mix was updated with automatic cropping, improved sharing, expanded cloud connectivity, and additional language support.

Adobe Illustrator Draw, which was released in October, is also available for creating freeform vector illustrations on iPad.
