Apple TV adds 4 new channels, YouTube updated

Four new channels have been added to the Apple TV lineup. UFC.TV, The Scene, Fusion, and Dailymotion are available. Additionally, Google has updated its YouTube Apple TV app.

UFC.TV offers Ultimate Fighting Championship content, including free and paid video. A premium membership is available for $54.99 for a 6-month subscription, or $99.99 for an entire year. The channel will also be offering its $10 a month “Fight Pass” subscription service.

The Scene includes free digital shorts from Condé Nast media brands including ABC News, Epicurious, Forbes, GQ, PBS, The New Yorker, The Weather Channel, Vogue, and more.

Fusion is a joint venture between Disney-ABC and Univision, and offers news, pop culture, and lifestyle content. Finally, the Dailymotion channel offers access to the website’s library of videos.

The YouTube for Apple TV update features a new interface, more content, and for the first time, ads. With this update, YouTube for Apple TV finally looks like the versions on Xbox, PlayStation, and other similar streaming devices.
